Our youngest Trustee , Soraya Akinsanya, ran the London Marathon this year in aid of the FARS Chanmugam Trust.

Having trained during one of the coldest winters we have experienced in a long time in London, the day of the Marathon turned out to be one of the hottest on record. Even the spectators were sweltering in the heat, so she did not have an easy time! However she drew on all her physical and mental strength to get to the finish line, cheered on by her many friends, family and fellow Trustees. She raised in the region of £9,000 for our Charity. We are all very proud of you, Soraya, and send a big “thank you” from all of us. What a magnificent achievement!!
