Heading to the cricket

The girls at the Wanathamulla home really love their cricket and enjoy watching and playing it. Sunday afternoon often features a cricket match in the playground of the Children’s Home. This month, Frances and I took some of the girls to watch the one day international between Sri Lanka and the West Indies. The game lasted over 7 hours and the girls really enjoyed it, especially as Sri Lanka won!
